Shipping Instructions
|
- Please email us at us at (718) 377-8010 before shipping us your audio equipment for service.
- When available, the manufacturer's original shipping container and packaging material should be used to pack your audio equipment. This will reduce the chances of your audio equipment being damaged in transit by the shipping company. In the event that your audio equipment is damaged in transit, original boxes and packing will facilitate a claim for damages. We recommend that you double box any audio components that are shipped to High End Audio Repair (HEAR LLC).
- Do not send equipment packed with any styrofoam peanuts.
- If your audio equipment utilizes transport screws, securely attach them to the unit before packing it.
- Securely pack any loose objects (i.e. vacuum tubes, remote controls, etc.) with adequate bubble wrap, newspaper or stiff cardboard to prevent them or your unit from being damaged in transit.
- Provide complete details of the unit requiring service, including electronic or mechanical symptoms and cosmetic defects of your audio component. High End Audio Repair (HEAR LLC) will note any and all cosmetic damage to your unit on our invoice.
- Provide your full and legible contact information, including name, address, phone numbers and email address.
- Kraft tape is recommended for sealing your cartons. Alternatively, you may use packing tape. Cellophane tape (i.e. Scotch ® tape and equivalent brands) should not be used to pack your audio component.
- Please contact us if you require additional instructions for shipping your audio equipment to High End Audio Repair (HEAR LLC).

Shipping Charges
|
- It is your responsibility as the owner of the equipment, to pay for all shipping and insurance charges to and from High End Audio Repair (HEAR LLC). If we consider your packing to be inadequate, we will repack and box your audio component at our expense.
- It is your responsibility as the owner of the equipment, to insure it for its full value. High End Audio Repair (HEAR LLC) assumes no liability for any audio equipment shipped to us without adequate insurance.

Special Handling
|
- Kindly note any components in excess of 100 pounds will incur a minimum charge of $250.
|
